Note To Self: Why Some JPEGs Don’t Render in Firefox or IE

If you find some of your JPEGs render in Safari but not in Firefox or IE, check the images' colour models.

They come in two flavours: RGB and CMYK. Firefox and IE won’t render the latter. Safari handles both.
